I love homemade banana bread. There is something about the way it smells that just warms up the whole house.

This easy banana bread recipe has all the elements of how healthy banana bread should be, bananas, walnuts and maple syrup instead of white or brown sugar. Bananas are naturally sweet so that means you don’t need that much added sugar.
I have to say this is the best banana bread recipe I have ever made. This is also a great healthy toddler snack that you can give to your little one. My favourite part of creating recipes is baking with my son. I think we should always be baking with our kids!
What you need to make the magic:
Oven at 350F
1 glass baking dish
2 frozen bananas (I would have added 3)
2 free range eggs
1 tsp pure vanilla
¼ cup pure maple syrup
2 cups buckwheat flour
Pinch of cinnamon
2 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
6 tbsp melted coconut oil or grass-fed butter
12 walnuts crushed
Bake for 45 minutes
