Follow this recipe to whip up a delicious malai paneer –
Malai Paneer is a quick and delicious recipe that can be chowed down with flatbreads, rice or even as is if you skip the gravy. The chewy softness of the paneer teamed with the rich and creamy semi-dry gravy makes for a great main and an excellent appetizer as well.
This malai paneer dish is semi dry and has a nice moistness due to the cream. I have used amul cream here. Serve malai paneer hot garnished with some chopped coriander leaves, as a starter or with phulkas, chapatis or naan.
Malai paneer uses half-and-half while the doodh paneer uses whole milk. One serving of Methi Malai Paneer Subzi gives 366 calories. Out of which carbohydrates comprise 45 calories, proteins account for 39 calories and remaining calories come from fat which is 277 calories. Paneer is loaded with healthy fats, proteins and are very low on carbs. It is excellent for weight loss and diabetics.
