We found rosemary growing in our yard. We just moved here recently, so I’m guessing it was planted by the previous owner. I was super excited because I make rosemary bread all the time. I decided to harvest a ton of rosemary and see what all it can be used for. I’m not very familiar with herbs and their medicinal purposes. But I’ve been watching Andrea Mills for many years, and because of her videos about herbs and being self-taught I wanted to jump in and give it a try. I learned that rosemary and rosemary oil have tons of health benefits: antiinflammatory, hair health, helps with migrains, mood enhancer, fatgue fighter, anti-aging, etc. I preserved some to use fresh in upcoming batches of rosemary bread and chicken recipes, I dehydrated about 3oz to use in the future, and I used some to decorate which also helps keeps bugs away. We also brought some to our neighbors, and ate rosemary blossoms in our salad. The rest I used to make rosemary enfused oil which I’m using on my hair. I really enjoyed the entire process, and I think I’ve just discovered a new hobby. I’m thankful to Andrea for teaching so many of us so much, and lived her short life to its fullest.
