Banana Bread is a delicious treat, and making it yourself is not only satisfying and meditative (something we all need amidst the possibility of coronavirus isolation), but also ensures you know what you’re putting into your food.

This is a simple recipe that uses oat flour rather than refined flour, maple syrup and honey rather than sugar, and cooking oil… which gets a bad name despite not really being “bad” for you in moderate amounts.

Give it a go and enjoy the making, baking, and partaking of eating this delicious treat.

This recipe uses oat powder… if you cannot find this easily, put some normal oats in a food processor until they form a fine powder.
