INGREDIENTS
Chicken breast tenders
Teriyaki sauce
Rice
Broccoli
Ziploc bag
DIRECTIONS
1. Marinate chicken tenders in ziploc bag
2. Prepare rice (watch this video for full directions on how to prepare rice →
3. Wait for the rice cooker to start steaming
4. Place chicken in the steamer basket and add to rice cooker – set a timer for 15 minutes
5. Add broccoli on top of chicken in the steamer basket and sprinkle with salt – set another 15-minute timer
OPTIONAL: Add addition teriyaki sauce over the top of the broccoli
6. After the chicken has cooked for 30 minutes, check the temperature. The internal temperature of the chicken should be at least 165° F.
7. Remove steamer tray
8. Let rice continue cooking
9. Plate and serve
OPTIONAL: Top the meal with more teriyaki sauce
