Easy No-Knead Bread
3 cups flour
1/2 tsp yeast
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups warm (not hot) water
Note: You should be able to keep your finger in the warm water. More than 140 degrees will kill the yeast and your bread will not rise.
Combine dry ingredients in a bowl.
Add water and mix until dough forms.Â
Cover with plastic wrap and let sit overnight or for 8-24 hours.Â
Put dough to rest on floured surface for 30 minutes. (Cover with cloth)
Put baking pan in oven for 5 minutes to preheat before taking out (it will be HOT, so YOU MUST use oven mitts!)Â
Carefully place dough in hot baking pan and bake covered at 425 degrees for 30 minutes.
Uncover and bake for 10 more minutes.Â
Remove from oven and let stand for 15 minutes before cutting.Â
