looking for a weight loss cake recipe for lockdown? of course, the present corona situation is scary and we should use our limited resources rationally. so here’s presenting a v easy ragi cake recipe without egg and refined sugar that fits as a weight loss cake or lockdown cake. sweetened with date palm jaggery and flavored with home made jam, the healthy finger millet recipe is a keeper.
Ingredients of lock down cake for weight loss recipe
1 cup- 240 ml
1 cup- ragi (finger millet)
1/2 cup- jam (any jam should work — i had unsweetened mixed fruit jam– just cook whatever fruits you have in their own juice until they turn paste like)
1/2 cup – date palm jaggery – I have used 1/4 cup+2 tbsp
1.2 tsp- salt
1/2 cup- water (i added 1/4 cup to the batter- but you can add up to 1/2)
3 tbsp- flaxmeal +9 tbsp water=mix and rest for 15 mins
2 tbsp- cocoa powder
