Banana Cake Recipe:
– 2 Egg Yolks
– 4 Egg Whites
– 85 gr Sugar ( 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp)
– 115 gr Ripe Banana pulsed in the food processor ( 1 Banana )
– 100 gr Milk ( 1/2 cup + 1 tbsp)
– 120 gr All Purpose Flour ( 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp)
– 1 tsp Baking Powder
– 1 tsp good Quality Vanilla
– 1/4 tsp Salt
– 1/2 tsp Lemon Juice ( or 1/4 tsp cream of tartar) Add it to the egg whites before adding the sugar.
Custard Cream:
– 330 gr Whole Milk ( 1 1/3 cup )
– 2 medium Eggs
– 90 gr Sugar ( 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp)
– 2 1/2 tbsp Cornstarch
– 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
– Pinch of Salt
