Hi Everyone, here are two of my very favorite breakfast recipes along with my morning routine!
“Game Changer” morning rituals: Drink a large glass of water and a cup of berries before drinking or eating anything else! Just try it, trust me 🙂
Buckwheat Pancakes:
Mix equal parts buckwheat and water or milk. I used about 1/2 cup of buckwheat flour and 1/2 cup of water! Cook on Medium heat until you see bubbles at the surface of the cakes, flip and cook another 60 seconds or so.
Berry Sauce:
Mix about 3 cups of berries, a tablespoon of sweetener, and a tablespoon of water in a small saucepan. I used honey but you can also skip the added sweetener. Cook on low until it reached desired consistency. About 10 minutes or so.
Tofu Scramble:
Crumble 1 block of extra firm tofu in a skillet. Add seasoning of choice, I used 1 teaspoon each turmeric, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook like you would scrambled eggs until they reach desired consistency. I cook mine until they get a little crisp, on medium heat about 5 minutes. Serve with sides or topping of choice! You can store leftover tofu in the fridge for about 5 days.
