Chicken Breast Recipes
#1 CHICKEN FINGERS
– a little CRISPY on the outside & JUICY in the inside
Ingredients:
*1kg chicken fillet (chopped to long strips)
2 eggs (separate the white & yolk)
1tsp salt
2 cloves garlic (minced)
**Mixed spices (paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, & ground black pepper – 1tsp each)
1tbsp cornstarch
***Cooking oil – 30g or 2tbsp

*I bought 1.3kg of chicken fillet. I used 1kg of it for the chicken fingers & separated 300g for recipe #2 (tip: choose those short strips to chop smaller for recipe #2)

**The mixed spices is an optional ingredient, personally i just wanted it a little spicy

***This is important. Cooking oil contains a lot of calories so make sure you have a better count of how much you’ve used if you are strict with your diet

#2 ORANGE CHICKEN
-this recipe originally has too high calories due to the proportion of flour & cornstarch used, as well as the fact that this is a deep fried dish just like recipe #1. But in this video, I reduced the ingredients to its minimum to achieve more or less the same quality of deliciousness but significantly lower in calories.

Ingredients
MIX:
300g chicken fillet (chopped to small chunks)
1tbsp flour
1tbsp cornstarch
1 egg white
1tsp salt
1tsp white pepper
1tsp cooking oil

*Cooking oil – 30g or 2tbsp

SAUCE:
1tbsp sesame oil
Ginger (~1tsp minced)
Garlic (1clove minced)
1/4cup orange fit n right
1tbsp soy sauce
1tbsp vinegar
**2tbsp honey

*This is important. Cooking oil contains a lot of calories so make sure you have a better count of how much you’ve used if you are strict with your diet

**If honey is not available, you can replace it with 3tbsp of brown sugar & 1tbsp of cornstarch dissolved in 3tbsp water
