Upma Is A full Of Veggies And Any One Can Eat In Breakfast Or At Time Or Can Eat As Light Dinner
Ingredients(3 Serving)
2 Tbsp Oil
1 Tsp Mustard Seeds
4-5 curry leaves
2-3 Chopped green chilies
1 TBSP Urad Dal
1 Finely Chopped Onion
1 Finely Chopped Capsicum
1 Finely Chopped Tomato
1 Cup Rava/Sooji
1.5 Tsp Salt (According to your taste)
3 Cups Water
Few Leaves Of coriander
Half a Tsp Lemon Juice(If You Like)
Detailed Recipe
Add oil in a pan.add mustard seeds and curry leaves. Add chopped green chilies and Urad Dal Mix it properly and stir it for 2-3 Minutes
Add Finely Chopped Onion stir it for 2-3 Minutes Add Capsicum stir it for 2-3 Minutes Add Tomato And stir it for 2 Minutes You Can Add More Boiled vegetables like corn, beans, Peas as well(in my home we like only a few vegs in Upma)
Add Rava/Sooji Properly with Vegetables and stir it for approx 3-4 minutes till Rava reveals the aroma
Add 3 Cups Of Water. If You Like Upma In Slight Liquid Form Add One More Cup Coz Rava Will absorb water within 2-4 Minutes
Add Coriander leaves in it. If You Like Add Few Drops Of Lemon Juice
Tips:-
Add Urad Dal it will enhance the taste of upma
You Can Add More Vegetables to it
Add Peanuts If You Like fry it when you add Urad Dal
Just Cook Till Rava Absorb The Water.Don’t Overcook It Otherwise It Will Not Taste Good
Add Lemon Juice After Turning Off The Flame
And Healthy Upma Is Ready
