Hello everybody and welcome to another episode of the Hnk tv. Today we wanted to show you how to make a nice, crispy and light sourdough baguette from scratch. The aim of this video is to show you how to shape it properly to have that classic open crust.
If you follow these steps, detailed in the video, you will be able within a few weeks to make your own perfectly shaped baguette.

The recipe is provided here.
400 gr strong flour
275 gr water
200 gr starter culture
15 gr salt
Mix all the ingredients together and let rest for half an hour. Then fold it a couple of times and proof for 3-4 hours.
At this stage, the dough will result nicely proven, bubbly, spongy and relaxed. tip it out and follow the steps as shown into the video. Cut, roll, and proof. Line, score and bake.
