Hey guys, Thank you for visiting my channel! I really hope you enjoy this recipe – it’s one of my faves! I love how versatile & customizable it is too. Let me know in the comments below what you thought of the video and of course, the recipe if you make!

Some dietary notes:
Nut allergies: I haven’t tried, but I am certain that chocolate spread can be used to replace the nut butter here!

Toasted coconut flakes can also be used to replace the flaked almonds (or you can skip this step entirely)

Gluten: Gluten-free rolled oats and gluten-free puffed rice cereal will both work perfectly fine here!

Ingredient List:
1 cup rolled oats
2 cups cocoa pops (or rice crispies if not making chocolate flavour)
2 medium/large egg whites
1 tbsp liquid sweetener (honey, maple syrup, agave etc)
1/2 cup flaked almonds (or substitute, or none at all)

Optional for flavour:
1 tbsp sweet cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla essence

Optional Additions:
A big handful of chocolate chips
1 type of dried fruit or freeze-dried berries

Baking instructions:

Step 1. Bake for 20 mins @ 160 degrees C (fan oven). Remove and leave too cool for 5 mins before breaking into clusters. Toss the granola well – the same way you would when cooking roast potatoes to ensure an even bake.

Step 2. (same heat) Bake for a further 8-12 mins (ovens vary) or until crisp. Make sure you watch it during the second bake to ensure it does not burn!

Kit:
1 Large mixing bowl
1 spatula
1 baking tray
1 sheet of greaseproof paper
A whisk (handheld or electric)
1 oven (of course!)
Airtight storage jar/container (number depends on size – this recipe filled 2.5 x Medium Kilner jars)
