Today we are making easy homemade popcorn and I am going to show your 3 different healthy ways to make it. The first one is my version of “classic popcorn” that is more neutral tasting, second is yummy sweet coconut popcorn, and the third one is cheese buttery popcorn. All the ingredients I used are listed below.
1. CLASSIC POPCORN
3-4 TBSP avocado oil
1/2 cup organic corn kernels
Pinch of celtic sea salt
2. COCONUT BUTTER GLAZE POPCORN
For Popcorn:
3-4 TBSP coconut oil
1/2 cup organic corn kernels
Pinch of celtic sea salt
For Coconut Butter Glaze:
1/4 cup coconut butter
2 tsp maple syrup (or honey)
1/4 tsp of vanilla extract or whole vanilla bean
1/4 cup full fat coconut milk
3. HERBED BUTTER PARMESAN POPCORN
For Popcorn:
3-4 TBSP organic ghee (clarified butter)
1/2 cup organic corn kernels
Pinch of celtic sea salt
For Toppings:
Fresh rosemary & thyme (dried works too)
Shredded Parmesan Reggiano (nutritional yeast if you are sensitive to dairy)
Freshly cracked black pepper
Pinch of celtic sea salt
