*Ingredients to make homemade best Tahini Sauce*
UnHulled Sesame Seed – 1/2 cup
Hulled Sesame Seed – 1/2 cup
Olive Oil – 1/4 cup
Salt – To Taste
Direction
Toast sesame seeds in a dry pan over medium low heat.
I am using both hulled and un hulled sesame seeds you can use either one
stir constantly with a spoon until the seeds darken and becomes aromatic
Cool toasted sesame seeds
Add toasted sesame seeds to a food processor
Add salt according to taste
Cover with lid and process on high speed until coarse paste form
Add oil and process on high speed for 2 minutes or until smooth
Scrape the edges and bottom of the bowl and run food procesor for a minute
we like our tahini at this consistency.
Pour into a serving dish
Homemade nutty flavor tahini sauce is ready for serving
