RECIPE:

Note: Usually made with almond meal instead of oats for a finer texture and to be made gluten free! If you don’t have almond meal however, just follow this recipe as we subbed in the almond meal for oats! Oats aren’t always GF bare in mind.

Ingredients:
1 cup oats OR almond meal
1/4 cup coconut flour
3/4 cup protein powder (vanilla)
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup cacao nibs (less if desired)
2 Tbsp coconut milk
1 Tbsp rice malt syrup
1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Method:
1. Add oats to a food processor and blend until ground fine.
2. Add remaining dry ingredients (except cacao nibs if you want them to be crunchier, if you want them ground up finer add them now). Blend until combined.
3. Add all wet ingredients and blend until a dough like texture is formed.
4. If you have not already, add cacao nibs and blend until choc chip dough is combined.
5. Roll into balls and enjoy! Even ore delicious when drizzled with melted dark choc!!

(Makes 5-6 large sized protein balls, 8-10 if made smaller)
