You have leftover rice and have no idea what to do with it, then you must try this quick and delicious fritters recipe. It requires basic ingredients available in your kitchen.
::Ingredients::
Leftover rice – 1 cup
Wheat flour – 1/2 cup
Curd/Yogurt – 1/2 cup
Onion – 1/2 cup
Green chillies – 1 or 2
Cilantro/Coriander – 1/2 cup
Mint – 1/4th cup (Optional)
Ginger garlic paste – 1/2 tsp
Salt
Turmeric
Red Chilli powder
Oil
Water
::Directions::
1. Mix all ingredients and make a dough
2. You can let the dough sit for 15 minutes, this will make the dough soft
3. Heat a pan on medium flame.
4. Brush oil on pan.
5. Take a lemon size portion from dough and beat it as shown on the pan. Apply water to your hands to prevent dough from sticking on your hands.
6. Cook it on medium flame for 5 minutes, till it turn crispy.
7. Flip the fritter carefully as it tends to break easily.
8. Cook the fritter till it turns crispy on other side as well, for a minute.
9. The fritter is cooked completely once it turns crispy and golden brown on the other side too.
10. Enjoy the fritter with ketchup, sriracha, raita or as just like that.
