Meal Planning for Athletes & for Weight Loss

Perfect for athletes and people looking to lose weight in general. Meal prep doesn’t have to be difficult or expensive. This meal planning is incredibly budget friendly (cheap) and will last almost all week. This butternut squash soup recipe gives you the flexibility to mix up the ingredients with whatever you have on hand that makes sense. Experiment with this nutritional meal plan for endurance athletes and enjoy it all week.
If you are trying to control your hunger ALL DAY LONG, then this meal prep recipe is perfect. It delivers a solid dose of healthy carbs…the low carb thing is NOT right for everyone and absolutely insane for athletes of any level.

Ingredients:
1 cup uncooked rice of choice
2 Butternut Squash
1 sweet potatoe
1 Head of garlic
A few carrots if available
Salt& Pepper
Red Chili flakes
Water
Milk and Maple Syrup optional
Top with sour cream, cream fresh or even tofu

Instruction:
Set oven to 350 degrees F
Rough Chop potatos, carrots and garlic
Place in oven cake pan with 2 cups of water and then add rice, making sure to coat the rice

Place Butternut Squash(s) in a separate pan with 2 cups water as well and place all pans in the over for 1 hour
Go ride bike

Remove from oven, scrape butternut squash with a fork to remove skin.
Place all ingredients in a large soup pot and use blender to mix with water until desired consistency is reached.
Place in pre-sized serving containers for lunches all week and you’ll absolutely lose weight (intervals optional but recommended).
