Am loving my dehydrator at the moment. These chocolate dipped fruits are great as a treat and the dehydrator does most of the work. The one I use is just a little cheap version which certainly does the job, but I have my eye on a beautiful Sedona model so I can do a lot more.
For this recipe dehydrate the fruit you want to coat in chocolate. I have to say the orange was delicious as were the berries. Actually who am I kidding. It all was 🙂
I have prepared the chocolate in my Thermomix but you can do it just as easily on the stovetop, in a small saucepan over a low heat.
Chocolate Recipe
65grams cacao butter
25g cacao powder
2 teaspoons honey
1/8 teaspoon himalayan salt
Heat cacao butter over low heat until melted. Add remaining ingredients and stir, mixing until smooth.
Pour into bowl and dip fruit pieces, you can half coat or coat completely. Place on baking paper to set.
