PE@Home Nutrition-Energy Balance episodes include activities, advice, and teaching related to healthy eating and hydration and how they relate to physical activity. They focus on helping kids to fuel themselves for physically active when they’re cooped up in the house for any reason.
This episode was directed by Lindsay Lovett, who has 15 years of experience teaching at the elementary level. It was produced by Wayne Herninko, who has 27 years of experience teaching at the elementary and secondary level. He was also named the 2019-2020 Glebe Elementary School Teacher of the Year.
Episodes will also Include veteran teacher Kelly Manchisi. All three make up the physical education team at Glebe, which is part of Arlington Public Schools, in Arlington, VA.
