In today’s video, I teach you how to make a delicious Israeli Salad that’s a healthy breakfast idea for weight loss. In fact, I have lost over 50 lbs. in less than three months eating this Israeli Salad two to three times per week for breakfast.
It takes just a couple of minutes to make which is perfect if you are always in a hurry to get to work in the morning. And it gives you a ton of energy. It has healthy fats, lots of protein, and low in carbs. The best part is that it taste’s amazing.
Here’s the recipe which is served in a bowl:
10-15 halved cherry tomatoes
1/2 of a large cucumber cut in half moon shapes 1/4 of an inch thick
1/2 of a medium avocado
2 oz Goat cheese in log form
1 dried fig cut in slivers
1/2 serving of walnuts (7 halves)
2 teaspoons of honey drizzled on top
Dab of Sea Salt and Black Pepper
Lots of Mint
Weight Watchers and many other programs count fruits and veggies as ZERO points. Which means this is the perfect breakfast. The beauty is that this meal is approximately 350 calories, but those calories are all coming from healthy foods.
Easy adjustments can be made by adding more walnuts if you’d like more protein and another fig or additional honey if you want the Israeli Salad to be sweeter. However, the recipe I teach you to make is the perfect balance of flavors.
Ideally, you shouldn’t substitute the Goat cheese because it adds a creamy element to the dish that’s delectable. If you have not had Goat cheese before, the taste is a bit bland which is great because it can be easily manipulated.
So, you get the creaminess of the Goat cheese and then it tastes like the honey, spices and other ingredients. Its worth a try if you’ve never had it before. Just remember to get the log shaped ones which are ideal for salads.
Also, as I mentioned in the video, honey has loads of health benefits. But they get destroyed if it comes into contact with metal objects such as metal utensils. So, be sure to use a plastic or wooden spoon or fork to serve and eat from.
So many of my friends tell me that they are surprised that they’re now eating my Israeli Salad recipe for breakfast as most of the time when one thinks of salad it’s typically for lunch.
But my Israeli Salad recipe has a lot of sweetness which makes it perfect for breakfast. Also, if you watch until the end of the video, you’ll learn all the nutritional benefits from these ingredients which is shocking!
Thanks for watching. I put a lot of effort into this video to make it as informative as possible. This is a new channel and I will be posting new videos every week.
