Ingredients
2 1/2 cups of flour (any will do)
1 1/4 tsp fine salt
4 tbsp of white sugar (brown sugar will do)
2 tbsp of unsalted butter
1 1/4 tbsp of instant yeast
1 cup of warm milk (fresh or evaporated milk)
1/4 cup of warm water
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Grated carrots
Cheese(cheddar/mozzarella)
*separate 1 cup of flour
Steps
1. Mix the water, milk, sugar, yeast and butter.
2. Stir well and set aside for 5-8 minutes or until the mixture is foamy.
3. Mix the flour, salt and carrots.
4. Add the foamy mixture of yeast.
5. Mix well.
6. Add the separated 1 cup of flour.
7. Knead for 5-10 minutes until the dough is foamy, supple and elastic.
8. Grease the bowl and the dough.
9. Cover with cling wrap and let it rise for 1-2 hours or until double in size.
10.Transfer the dough on a flat surface and divide according to your preference.
11. Flatten the dough, put the cheese, enclose and circle the dough.
12. Coat with breadcrumbs.
13. Place them on the greased sheet, and cover with towel.
14. Allow to rise for 30 minutes to 1 hour or until double in size.
15. Place in the preheated oven (350’F).
16. Cook for about 25-30minutes.
