This vegetable dalia recipe is a nutritious fibre rich recipe for health enthusiasts that not only serves as a great healthy breakfast but can also be had for dinner as it is loaded with vegetables!

Here’s what you’ll need:

INGREDIENTS:

1 Tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 dried red chilli
8-10 curry leaves
1 tablespoon peanuts
1 onion, finely chopped
1 carrot, finely chopped
1/4 cup peas
1 cup dalia(broken wheat)
4.5 cups water
salt(to taste)
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
juice of 1 lemon
