Dal dhokli/Chakoli/Chakola/Indian instant Pasta recipe has many health benefits like
Jowar reduce bad cholesterol and increase the effect of good cholesterol.
Toor dal contains a very good amount of fiber and for balanced diet Toor Dal provide required proteins.
Wheat flour is a good souce of iron and minerals including selenium and copper.
This helps for diabetic, bp, constipation patients and to reduce the weight as it is rich in nutrients.
Ingredients:
+ 1/2 cup Toor dal
+ 2 green chillis
+ 2 tsp oil
+ 1/2 tsp mustered seeds
+ 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
+ Pinch of hing/asafoetida
+ 2 tbsp red chillis
+ Some curry leaves
+ 1 onion
+ 1 tomato
+ 1/2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
+ 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
+ 1/2 tsp red chillipowder
+ 1/4 tsp coriander powder
+ 1/4 tsp jira/cumin seeds powder
+ 1/4 garam masala powder
+ 1/2 lemon (optional)
+ 1tsp salt
+ 1 cup wheat flour
+ 1 cup jowar flour
+ some coriander
Tips :
1. Who doesn’t have JOWAR flour can try using only WHEAT.
2. Dropping all the dhokli pieces at once in dal can helps cooking consistently.
