Today’s recipe is millet vermicelli upma. This is a healthy alternative to the regular vermicelli.You can have this for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Millets are rich in dietary fibre and minerals. It helps us to keep our body strong and immune and also helps us to control blood sugar and cholesterol levels.
Ingredients required for this recipe are:
1. Millet semya – 2 cups
2. Onion – 1
3. Green chilly -6
4. Ginger -1inch
5. Avalu(mustered seeds) – 1 tsp
6. urad dal – 1 tsp
7. Bengal gram/Chana dal – 2 tsp
8. cashews – 25 gms.
9. Water – 3 cups
10. Oil – 2 1/2 tble spoon
11. Salt – as per your taste
