*********Vegetable Daliya Recipe***********
Ingredients:-
-1 cup Daliya
-1½ Tablespoon Ghee
-½ cup Curd
-½ cup soaked Yellow Lentil
-1 Onion finely chopped
-1 Tomato chopped
-½ cup French Beans chopped
-½ Capsicum chopped
-½ cup Carrot chopped
-½ cup Fresh Peas
-1 Potato chopped
-3-4 tablespoon Oil
-1 tablespoon Cumin Seeds
-1 tablespoon Garlic Paste
-½ tablespoon Ginger Chili Paste
-¼ Teaspoon Asafoetida
-½ tablespoon Turmeric Powder
-1 ½ tablespoon Red Chili Powder
-1 tablespoon Coriander Powder
-Salt to taste
Method:-
-Firstly, roast Broken Wheat with ghee in a pan. You can dry roast the Daliya if you wish. Roast on slow to medium flame for 3-4 minutes. Keep stirring till Daliya turns light brown & aromatic.
-Now heat oil in a pressure cooker; add 1 Cumin Seeds, Garlic Paste, Ginger Chili Paste, Asafoetida and Onion.
-Sauté till onion softens. Add Tomatoes, French Beans, Capsicum, Carrot, Green Peas and Potato. Mix everything well and Sauté vegetables for 3-4 minutes.
-Add rest of the spices; Turmeric Powder, Red Chili Powder, Coriander Powder and Salt to taste. Mix well. Add Curd, soaked Yellow Lentil and roasted Daliya. Mix everything thoroughly.
-Add 4 cup water. Close the cooker and cook till 4-5 whistles. Once cooker cools open it perfectly cooked Daliya is ready. Transfer it in a serving bowl and Serve with curd or Kadhi.
