Sometimes I like to experiment in the kitchen. It doesn´t always end up with what I was hoping for, especially when it comes to baking and all the science of it. But this time I was extatic with the result – this incredibly moist and incredibly delicious healthy(!) banana bread!
I made naughtier versions in the past and I can tell you that you couldn´t be able to tell the difference. This banana bread is that good! It is not too sweet, with a bit of crunch from the walnuts and it stays moist days after.
For serving I like to add some fruit so this time I used banans and strawberries, they are in season. I also added some peanut butter and some crushed walnuts for finishing touch.
How do you like to serve your banana bread?
