Can Samosas be healthy, well we can try isn’t it
Let’s understand how many calories a normal Samosa has. One Samosa gives 91 calories. Out of which carbohydrates comprise 32 calories, proteins account for 6 calories and remaining calories come from fat which is 71 calories. Ingredients:
For the Dough
– Wheat Flour
– Caraway Seeds (Ajma)
– Ghee
For the filling
– Mashed Potatoes
– Chopped Cabbage
– Chopped Onions
– Peas
– Carrots
– Garlic
– Curry Leaves
– Jeera
– Turmeric
– Chilly paste
– Ginger paste
– Oil for Frying
Step 1:
Sauté all the veggies and spices in a pan except for the mashed potatoes
Step 2:
Add salt to the grated potatoes and and mix the sauted veggies into it and keep it aside
Step 3:
Make a soft dough and rest it for 20 mins. Roll circles of dough and cut in half to form a semi circle.
Step 4:
Form a cone of the sheet and add the filling. Fill it nicely with the filling and seal the Samosa properly
Step5:
Shallow Fry them until crispy and golden brown. Stack on your Samosas and devour them.
