I developed this recipe years ago when there was nothing in my kitchen except for a Pita bread and very little boiled chicken. Using the available resource I developed this amazing recipe. By adding anything you like it can be made as yummy as you wish.
Ingredients for filling:
Pita Bread 4 Nos
250 gm boiled and shredded chicken
1 cup shredded cabbage
1 cup finely chopped cucumber
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped tomato
1/4 cup chopped coriander
2 Tbsp mayonnaise
1 Tbsp Soya Suace
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
salt and black pepper to taste
Spread:
Mix 3 Tbsp of mayonnaise with 1 Tbsp of ketchup add a little water and mix.
Method:
For Filling , mix all ingredients of filling in a mixing bowl and mix well.
Preparing pocket:
Divide each pita bread in to half. Slit open each half to make pocket. Spread the mayonnaise spread evenly into pocket and fill richly with the filling. Grill on slow heat.
