In this video, I’m sharing a very cheap and simple vegetable salad that’s full of nutrition. It only makes use of three main ingredients: green papaya, tomatoes, and pechay, which is my alternative to the more expensive lettuce leaves. Pechay leaves when eaten raw are crunchy and a little sweet. It reminds me of the taste of guava, so I like it in my salad. When pechay is cooked, it taste a bit bitter. So I like it raw and fresh in my salad. This time with COVID-19, it’s always a good idea to eat healthy and affordable food.
