Flax wraps
Ingredients:
1 cup boiling water
1 1/2 cup flax flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
How to make these flax wraps:
to a bowl combine the flour and spices. set aside. To a saucepan add the water and let it boil. when it boils, quickly add in the flour and mix! Turn off the heat and keep mixing until a dough ball forms.
place the dough ball in a bowl and let it cool for a few minutes. between 2 pieces of parchment paper place half the dough and with a rolling pin roll out the dough until thin like a pita or crepe. use a bowl and place on top of the flax wrap and cut around the bowl with a knife so you get a perfect circle. remove the excess dough and now we’re ready to fry the flax wrap! Add a bit of coconut oil to your fan and then the flax wrap. cook for 2 minutes on one side and flip cooking the other side as well. Don’t’ cook too long otherwise your wrap will become crispy and wont be able to roll. You can make your wraps sweet or savory!
