Why Don’t We All Make Homemade Crumpets? Seriously, they’re super easy to make, take very little time, and crumpets are deeeeelicious. If you like English Muffins, and you like pancakes, you will like crumpets. Sorry, English muffins are breakfast muffins in England, and pancakes are crepes I think…. It’s the Americans that change the names of everything…. and speaking of Americans, why don’t we eat crumpets? I mean, as I said, they’re pretty awesome.

There. Really though, 5 minutes of prep, an hour of proofing, and cook them in a skillet on the stovetop. Pretty simple stuff. Not a lot of sugar added, no chemicals, just a healthy bread like thing for breakfast, brunch, or mid-afternoon snack.
