Sweet corn, also called American corn, is a good source of antioxidants, fiber, and phytochemicals. More importantly, perhaps, sweet corn is a popular vegetable among kids and adults alike. It is crunchy, flavorful, and tasty—and it’s a guaranteed hit when you serve it at the table.
How To Cook Cheesy Buttered Corn? We’ll need;
*Whole Corn Kernel
*Butter
*Quickmelt Cheese
*Salt and Pepper (optional).
How to prepare;
1. Remove the sweet corn kernels from the cob. If you are using stored kernels, wash them in water. But you can also buy a canned corn kernel.
2. Heat butter in a deep-bottomed pan. Add corn kernels. You may throw in pepper powder and some salt. Stir-cook over medium-high fire, until boiled.
3. Add cheese and keep stirring until cheese is melted.
4. Cheesy-Brothy Buttered sweet corn is ready to eat. Serve and enjoy!
Is Buttered Corn Healthy?
Fact: Sure, you can load up that juicy corn on the cob with butter and other high-calorie toppings. But one plain ear of corn has about 100 calories, similar to an apple. And with nearly 3 grams of fiber per serving, corn can help you feel full longer, so you’re less likely to overeat and pack on the pounds.
Cheesy Buttered Corn is not just good as a snack that kid’s love, it can also be a side dish and perfect as “Pulutan”.
