Some of my favorite easy to make and healthy snacks! I recommend making these the night before a busy day or throughout the day as a healthy alternative. I find that whenever my snack choice is healthy my day feels brighter and full of energy.

Kale Chips

Ingredients
-Olive Oil
-Salt
-Pepper
-Nutritional Yeast
-5 Cloves of Garlic
-2 Bunches of Kale

Directions
1. Set oven to 350 degrees.
2. Dice 5 cloves of garlic.
3. Add garlic to a large mixing bowl.
4. Add 2 TBSP of olive oil on top of the garlic.
5. Add pepper and salt (to taste).
6. Wash, dry, and then cut the kale into bite-size pieces.
7. Combine chopped kale into the bowl with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
8. Massage kale to infuse the oils and spices.
9. Spread kale on an oven-safe tray.
10. Bake kale in the oven for 15 minutes. Coming back every 3-5 minutes to flip kale.
11. Once kale is removed from the oven, season with nutritional yeast.

Roasted Chickpea

Ingredients
-1 can of chickpeas
-Pinch of salt
-1 TSP cumin
-1 TSP paprika
-1 TSP garlic powder
-1 TBSP olive oil

Directions
1. Set over to broil on high.
2. Drain and rinse 1 can of chickpeas.
3. Transfer chickpeas to a small-medium size bowl.
4. Add 1 TBSP olive oil on top of chickpeas
5. Mix in 1 TSP paprika, 1 TSP garlic powder, and 1 TSP cumin.
6. Spread chickpeas out on an oven-safe tray.
7. Broil chickpeas on high from 5-10 minutes. Coming back every 3 minutes to toss chickpeas.
