Today on Emmett Makes I am making crispy breaded cauliflower. This recipe is quick and easy, can be adjusted for a variety of tastes, and is fail-proof…perfect crispy cauliflower everytime! It makes for a healthy snack or side dish and is so delicious even cauliflower haters will have a hard time resisting. I start by breading the cauliflower in a spiced panko mixture and then bake to crispy perfection! Although I prefer to eat these as is, you can coat them in a BBQ sauce of your choice after they come out of the oven for a tasty cauliflower wing! Serve with carrots, celery and ranch dip and you have a great vegetarian alternative to a chicken wing dinner.

I don’t follow an exact recipe for this dish but here is the gist:
bowl of flour to coat cauliflower
2 eggs whisked
bowl of panko with added salt and spices to taste (I used salt, garlic powder and Old Bay seasoning)
Non-stick spray
Heat oven to 425
Dip bite sized pieces of cauliflower into flour, then egg, then panko mixture and place on a silpat lined baking sheet.
Spray generously with non-stick spray
Bake for 20 mins or until crispy
