Nankhatai’s are usually made with Maida or All Purpose flour, why not making it using whole wheat flour to make it more healthy. This is one such cookie I make it at home and gets over very soon. You know what is the most fun or joyful part in this, the smell it fills my kitchen and home, the aroma from cardamom and nutmeg enlightens the space. This is one such recipe I would like to do again and again.
To make this delicious Whole Wheat Nankhatai’s at home, you need these ingredients;
– Whole Wheat Flour / Atta – 1.25 Cup
– Besan – 1/2 Cup
– Sugar – 1/2 Cup
– Cardamom – 10 (only seeds)
– Nutmeg Powder – a pinch
– Saffron Strands – 1 pinch
– Baking Powder – 1 Tsp
– Ghee – 1/2 Cup
– Milk – 5-6 Tbsp
– Pistachios – 15
