Here is another delicious oats recipe and this time I am presenting oats idli recipe and coconut peanut chutney that goes very well with these instant breakfast – oats idli. This coconut peanut chutney goes with every south Indian recipe – idli, dosa, uttapam, appe…everything.
This oats idli recipe with coconut peanut chutney is perfect for healthy breakfast and also for lunch and dinner. It is quick, easy and light and of course healthy too. I am saying it repeatedly but it is 🙂
I always try to find ways in which I can include oats in our diet since Jatin doesn’t like oats porridge. So oats idli or oats appe is a good option to include oats in your diet.

Batter ingredients:
Instant Oats: ½ cup
Sooji: ½ cup
Curd: ½ cup
Water: ½ cup
Salt to taste
Baking Soda: ½ tsp
Tadka for idli:
Oil: 1 Tbsp
Mustard seeds: ½ tsp
Cumin seeds: ½ tsp
Curry leaves: a few
Chana dal: 1 Tbsp
Oil to grease the idli stand

Coconut Peanut Chutney Ingredients:
Peanuts: ¼ cup
Cumin seeds: ½ tsp
Red chillies: 2 to 3
Curry leaves: a few
Chana dal: 1 tsp
Coconut: ½ cup
Salt to taste
Amchoor: 1 tbsp
For tadka:
Oil: 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds: ½ tsp
Cumin seeds: ½ tsp
Curry leaves; a few
Red chillies: 1 to 2
