I don’t like the term “Cheatday” but people understand and use it… besides that I haven’t really found a good alternative yet. “Indulgence Day”? Just “Overeating” doesn’t sound good, even though it would probably be the most honest name for it.

Usually I eat normal amounts of mostly healthy food but since I have a really big appetite sometimes (about 10 times a year) I decide to just honor that appetite for a day and eat as much as I want and whatever I want. This time I tried to make rather healthy choices (at least compared to my last “cheatday”: ). Because healthy/nutritious food is more filling I wasn’t able to eat as many calories without feeling uncomfortably full (which I avoid) but I guess 5000+ is still a lot.

I don’t have an eating disorder and this is not a binge. I’m able to stop at any time, I don’t feel guilty for eating because it’s under control and I enjoy it.
