Tuna Salad Sandwich Recipe
Ingredients:
1 can skip jack tuna, drained
1 avocado
⅓ cup celery, finely diced
¼ cup green onion, finely diced
½ tsp. Mustard
Salt and pepper
Garlic powder
2 – 3 tsp. Fresh lemon juice
2 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
Bread of choice
Lettuce for garnish
Directions:
Mix the tuna, celery, green onion, parsley, mustard, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a bowl and stir to combine.
In another bowl add the avocado, salt and avocado and mash until well combined and smooth.
Pour the avocado mixture into the tuna bowl and stir to combine. Taste for seasonings. Toast your bread and add tuna to 1 slice of bread. Top with lettuce and any other garnish you like. Top with the 2nd piece of bread and cut in half to serve. Enjoy!
