Learn how to make THE BEST homemade jam recipe… did I mention that there’s no added sugar, it’s Low Calorie AND its easy to make😳

Today I will show you how to make low calorie, no sugar added jam that tastes better than the store bought jam!! True Story!!

INGREDIENTS:
454g fresh strawberries (or berry of choice)
110ml of filtered water
1/4 cup of sweetener
1 tsp vanilla extract
3-5g powdered gelatine
30ml lemon concentrate
8-10 drops of liquid stevia drops (optional)

DIRECTIONS:
1. Combine cut-up strawberries, water, sweetener, and vanilla extract in a medium sized pot.
2. Put covered pot on the stove and set it to MEDIUM (level 5 out of 10)
3. Keep pot covered until mixture comes to a boil and almost about to overflow
4. Once mixture begins to boil, remove lid and turn stove down to LOW and let it simmer uncovered for 20mins
5. At about 10mins combine in a separate bowl the lemon concentrate and gelatine and let it sit for 10mins
6. Once jam has been simmering for 20mins break up the gelatine mixture
7. Stir in the gelatine mixture with the jam until gelatine is fully dissolved and combined.
8. Take jam off the heat and let it sit to cool for another 20mins.
9. Jar jam in a mason jar and put it in the fridge to sit for at least 8 hours or overnight for it to thicken up. Enjoy!!

Macros per serving of strawberry jam.
For 15g (1 tbsp) of strawberry jam = 5 calories
1.1g carbs
0g fat
O.2g protein

Macros per serving of blueberry jam.
For 15g (1 tbsp) of blueberry jam = 14 calories
3.3g carbs
O.1g fat
O.3g protein

Keep in mind that if you want to make a smaller batch just half the ingredients. Directions stay the same.

Add a tablespoon or 2 my yogurt bowl to give you bowl that extra kick of flavour while keeping the calories down.
