How to make Beef Lasagna Recipe and Garlic Bread | Healthy and Easy
Start off with the beef sauce first, since this will take the longest.
Olive oil
1 tsp garlic
1 onion diced
1 cup carrots
1 cup diced celery
1/2 cup green pepper
3 tbsp tomato paste
Put all ingredients into a large pot, and saute for a 5 minutes.
Add spices
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp parsley
Salt
Pepper
1 tsp basil
1 tsp powder
Mix.
Add 1lb ground beef. Cook half way. Add 1 cup beef broth. Mix. Add 24 oz strained tomatoes. Mix. Add 1 tbsp sugar. Half way you might need to add 1/2 cup water. Simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Ingredients you will need for cheese mixture.
475g ricotta cheese
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, grated
Mix.
Grate 2 cups of marble cheese, and set aside.
Cook your noodles.
Bring a large pot of water to boil.
Add olive oil, and salt.
Once boiling add in 12 lasagna noodles. Cook until done.
Assembling the lasagna. Start off with the sauce at the bottom of your rectangular 9 x 11 dish. Add 4 noodles. Add 1/2 cheese mixture. Add sauce to cover noodles. Add 4 noodles. Add remaining cheese mixture. Add sauce to cover noodles. Add 4 noodles. Add sauce to cover noodles. Add the marble cheese on top. Cover, and cook at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Then remove cover, and cook for an additional 10 minutes or until golden brown.
