” Carrot Upma” is one of my favorite breakfast…I have selected to make this recipe for the ” Healthy recipe” contest because of its amazing health benefits.
Now – a- days our eyes are taking a lot of stress from different types of electronic devices.we can not see even our balcony greenaries…from morning to night our eyes are engaged in mobile ,laptop etc etc..
This orange colour vegetable is packed with beta carotene,vitamins,minerals& antioxidant..it protects our eye health & will boost our immune system as well.
Without adding ghee or sugar it’s tastes awesome.I didn’t even add chilli.
Ingredients:
1) 1 cup of grated steamed carrot,
2) 1/2 cup of chopped tomato,
3) 1 medium sized thin sliced onion,
4) Chopped nuts and raisins to taste,
5) few curry leaves,
6) 1/2 TSP fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds,
7) 1/4 tsp turmeric powder,
8) salt to taste,
9) 1 tbsp coarsely crushed channa Dal,
10) 1/2 tsp grated ginger,
11) 1 tbsp olive oil or any vegetable oil.
