With so many request from may of you today is going to be breakfast recipe. ‘Breakfast ‘- Breaking the fast from the night is considered the most important meal of the day. Hence its best to ensure it filled with nutritious and healthy ingredients. The combination of healthy with tasty is never an easy feat and to make it likeable for the kids as well is another whole achievement. This recipe today is an answer to all the above and more.. not only is this wheat egg dosa easy to make and healthy.. The best is yet to come… its INSTANT. Yes, no fermentation required and made on the go with simple things at home breakfast just got a whole lot better.
This dosa is made with a mix of things that can be altered as per taste. The main ingredients are the eggs and the wheat. With a lot of flat breads made from wheat this yummy dosa is a very easy and tasty variation to it. Wheat is a wholesome grain that’s healthy and filling. That combined with spicing and flavouring ingredients is used to make the batter that does not require any resting time. Though I like wheat my guys at home are not a fan. Inspite of that this dosa was literally cleaned off their plates.
These flavourful and nutritious crepes /dosas are made quickly and best had hot. But even if cold it does not alter the flavour much and can be served. It can be had just like that and no accompaniment /side dish required. You can also roll it up and dip in a bit of sauce to suit the flavors of the kids. Serves : 4 people
Course : Breakfast – 5 Minutes Healthy Breakfast
Cuisine : Indian
Ingredients :
Eggs : 2-3
Salt : as required
Chopped Coriander leaves : as required
Chopped green chilly : 4 to 5
Grated carrot : 1/2 cup
Raw milk : 1+1/2 cups
Wheat flour : 1 cup
Instructions:
• Take a big bowl and add the eggs and salt.
• Beat for a minute.
• Now add the coriander leaves, green chillies and carrot. Mix well.
• Add the raw milk and mix again.
• Now add the wheat flour and mix well without lumps.
• Set aside.
• Keep a stove on low to medium flame.
• Place a pan. Mix the batter and pour two ladles of batter.
• Apply oil or ghee and allow to cook for 2 to 3 mins.
• Press gently and once brown flip over.
• Once brown both sides remove from the pan.
• Repeat the same for the rest of the batter.
• Yummy and delicious Wheat egg dosa ready to serve hot.
Tips:
• Wheat flour can be substitute with all purpose flour.
• Batter should be mixed without lumps.
• The watery pouring consistency is the right consistency.
• The batter should be mixed everytime before making the dosa.
• You can top the dosa on pan with chilly flakes if more spice us required.
• The dosa required no side dish and can be had plain as well.
• Best served hot but even if cold the taste does not change.
