Ingredients

* Skimmed Milk powder – 1cup
* GF flour – 1 1tbsp
* Egg – 1
* Baking powder – 1 tsp
* Oil -1tbsp
* Water – 2cups
* Sugar – 1 cup
* Green cardamom – 1-2
* Oil – 1 cup (200ml) for frying

Method

1. In a pan add water, sugar and green cardamom. Cook for 10-15min on low heat.
2. In a bowl add milk powder, GF flour, egg, baking powder and oil.
3. Knead well. Add 1-2tbsp milk if dough is hard.
4. Make small round balls. Make sure theres no cracks in them.
5. In a separate pan add 1 cup oil and slightly heat.
6. Add the balls and fry on low heat til golden brown. About 20-15min.
7. Take out and add them to syrup. Cook for 5 min til gulab jamun double in size.
8. Serve.
( To calculate the calories best i can, i measured the remaining oil after frying gulab jamun).
