This grilled Bombay sandwich is a popular Maharashtrian street food. This is a healthy and tasty street food. The speciality of Bombay sandwich masala is generous use of sandwich masala, another important ingredient is green chutney. Potato stuffing and colourful veggies take this sandwich to another level.

ingredients

for potato mixture
1tbsp oil
1tsp cumin
1tsp mustard seeds
curry leaves 6
ginger /garlic/fresh turmeric/ chilly 1 to2 tbsp
1/2 tsp turmeric
1tsp chilly powder
1tsp cumin coriander powder
sat to taste
potatoes 4 medium boiled and mashed

sandwich masala
cumin 1tbsp
fennel 1tbsp
star anise 1/2
cloves 4
black pepper 6
anchor 1tsp
ginger powder 1tsp
black salt 1 tbsp
red chilly powder 1 tbsp
salt to taste
dry roast whole masala until aromatic and slightly changed colour and add the powdered masala .
grind everything.

green chutney
1 big bunch coriander
4 to 6 green chilly
3 to4 garlic
1 inch ginger
salt to taste
1 tbsp lime juice
roasted peanuts or gathiya
