Some delicious filling healthy but low calorie foods five star carb desserts
What are some delicious, filling, healthy, but low calorie foods? This one task takes up at least 30pc of my time, weekly. I usually spend most my Fridays and Saturdays prepping for healthy meal plans which includes crawling through the web for recipes, looking through my repository, creating grocery lists, foraging for the ingredients, calculating the macro nutrient calories and finally cooking everything on a Sunday. Earlier, I did develop my own recipes, but lately I havent had the time and have found some really great websites with amazing, healthy recipes. I look for 4 main things in anything I eat It has to have all the major macro nutrients Proteins, fa.ts and low carbs mostly, grains for wor.kout days, has to include nutrient densewith as less processing as possible items Has to fit in my calorie budget Has to taste good Has to fit in a reasonable weekly budget Also, I try and cook as much vegetarian as possible, with all of the above checked off. I am stubborn that way! Here are some of the recipe bloggers/websites use meat to replace any veggie proteins, if you prefer so, I use repeatedly 15 minute cauliflower fried rice calories – 165/serving pic courtesy https //pinchofyumm In any recipe I look for, the balance of macro nutrients is non negotiable, and depending on my wor.kout routine I vary the carb count. So, this is definitely a go to dinner when I havent word out on a particular day. Riced Cauliflower was stated in one of the answers Seriously, this is one of the be things that happened to me. I would have scoffed at the idea, if I didnt try it and see it for myself as to how GOOD it is! Of course it took a lot of searching the web, trying all of them to arrive at this keeper from https //pinchofyumm . Now, this is our go to weekday recipe. Made a veggie hating husband to a lover Orange, Tofu and Bell Pepper Stir Fry Calories – 390/serving Alternatively, if you are on a stringent diet you can vary the rice. A no rice option will put this at 320 calories pic courtesy http // cookinglightm/ Cooking light , is another of my favorite websites. They have some amazing recipes and keeps the waistline and wallet in check. I use this recipe for when I feel like a bit of color in my weekly meals and the burst of flavors it brings is undeniably good. Spicy Red Lentil Cocot Soup Calories 400 Again, the idea is to vary around some of high calorie items, like cocot milk in this case, in case you are under a strict diet. Although, personally I feel 400 calories is a substantial number of calories one should take in each meal pic courtesy http //girlontherangem/ I love the recipes on Girl on the range , I would rate this at the hight of all the recipe developers out there. When it is a last minute attempt to cook and I have nothing prepared, yet I am determined to eat healthy – I can always bank upon this treasure trove to whip out some deliciousness. Most importantly it satisfies all my criteria for a weekday meal. This soup makes for a filling meal by itself, with all goodness of the fa.ts for some extra energy! Lets say, I eat these as three meals of my day, I am still at just about a 1000 calories. I take in another 300 500 with nuts and fruits and I am still at good deficit, with a full belly and mostly co.ntent because the taste isnt sacrificed one bit! As I mentioned earlier, I make my own too keeping all the factors in mind however, I dont have any good pictures to post here. But really, its not very difficult to just play around a bit and come up with stuff that suits your palate. Happy Healthy Eating!
