Today’s video is about easy, quick and simple Pyaz Pakora (Onion Pakora). Pakora (pronounced [pəˈkɔːɽa]) is a spiced fritter originating from the Indian subcontinent, sold by street vendors and served in restaurants in South Asia and worldwide. We made a healthy version of these pakoras and they taste even better. It is very easy to make at home with basic ingredients and it is finger licking tasty. INGREDIENTS:
Pyaz Pakora (Onion Pakora):
– 2 large Pyaz (Onion)
– ½ cup Dhania (Cilantro)
– 1½ cup Besan (Gram flour)
– 1 Hari mirch (Green chili)
– 1 tsp Lal mirch (Red chili powder)
– 1 tsp Namak (Salt) – or to taste
– 1 tbsp Oil
– ½ cup Water

Note: Herbs and spices are used to add flavor to foods and are extremely low in calories.

Preparation:
Place the pakoras in a 10 minutes preheated oven (350°F or 180°C). Bake almost for 20 minutes at 350°F or 180°C so that the pakoras will be able to cook evenly.Flip the sides of pakoras at least 1 time during the baking process. Again bake the pakoras for 10 minutes at 350°F or 180°C. And then broil the pakoras for just 2 minutes so that they will be crispy and crunchy to eat, same as fried pakoras.
