Best for those who are looking for weight loss, they can add this recipe in their diet plan during breakfast or dinner time.It is a gluten free recipe so those who have gluten sensitivity issues they an also have this recipe in their diet plan. this recipe is suitable for those who have diabetes issues , cholesterol issue or PCOD/PCOS,thyroid issues. Ingredients for making of weight loss drink
Sorghum flour – 30 gm 94 to 5 small spoons) solution
Coriander leaves – 4 gm
Onion (medium) – 40 gm
Mint leaves, as per taste
Green chilli as per taste
Cumin seeds
Ginger, small
Curd (Low fat) – 150 gm
Salt / pink salt, as per taste
Cooking Method Jowar Ambli
Take the sorghum flour, add little water to it and make a thick solution or paste. Mix well, avoid lumps.
Now take one and half cup water in a steel bowl, add this jowar solution, mix well and put it on low flame. Stir continuously to avoid burning of jowar down the pot.
Stir continuously until the solution coagulates. Then switch off the flame, allow it to cool for 15 to 20 minutes.
Wash the ingredients such as onion, green chilli, mint leaves and coriander leaves and chop into small pieces.
Use mortar & pestle to make masala. Add cumin seeds, ginger and chopped green chilli, coriander leaves, mint leaves. Crush and make a fine paste.
Since the quantity of veges are less I am using mortar & pestle, you may use a mixer grinder if useful. Don’t skip this is the main taste enhancer of the recipe.
Take a small bowl, add curd and pink salt mix well and add it to the jowar solution along with chopped onion and the masala paste, mix well. Serve fresh.
