Thanks for watching my very first video podcast!

Who needs complicated? Not me! Nope. Not me. Life is already complicated enough. Let’s leave that out of the kitchen. If you’re like me, the kitchen is sort of a place of controlled chaos. So, the more I can control, the better off my meals are. Trust me on this.

On this episode I chat about simplifying life + simplifying meals all at the same time. It’s like a double whammy. The five takeaways I mention are:
1. Store prepped ingredients like minced garlic and diced onions in your freezer to make cooking less of a burden.
2. Invest in a good cast-iron pan and Dutch oven to cook just about everything you could ever want in. Then resist overcrowding.
3. Update your “staples list” whenever you run out of an ingredient. Keep your pantry stocked with basics.
4. Gather all. Then clean as you go using a bowl. Then you can dump all your scraps at one time.
5. Use less ingredients – try pre-chopped and pre-done spice mixes and fresh, pre-cooked like rotisserie chicken (I need to do this)

Plus, there’s a bonus one too! Cool. But, you’ll have to watch to find out! 🙂

This is what is on my meal plan (though possibly not what I actually end up making!):
Monday: Grilled egg sandwiches + broccoli
Tuesday: Wings + salad + veggie fries
Wednesday: Salmon + ravioli
Thursday: Pizza + salad
Friday: Harvest pasta + chicken + asparagus

Message me for details on any of these!
