Hey Guys,
A crisp hot sabudana wada which are crispy on the outside and soft gooey on the inside and paired with green mint chutney and curd and with hot piping chai is everyone’s dream, isn’t it??
But have you ever refrained from taking that another piece just because it is deep fried??? Well worry no more because today we are making non fried version of sabudana wada/patty and we will be using very little oil to cook these…
So let’s get started, shall we??
Recipe –
• Sabudana/ sago – 2 cup soaked for at least 3-4 hours
• Potato – 2-3 medium, boiled, peeled & mashed
• Ginger – 1 inch piece, grated
• Green chilli paste – 1 tsp (can substitute with 1 or 2 finely chopped ones)
• Coarsely powdered peanut powder– 4 tbsp
• Rice flour/rajgira flour – 3-4 tbsp approx for binding
• Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp, finely chopped
• Cumin seeds – 1-1/2 tsp
• Sugar – 2 tbsp
• Salt – 3/4 tsp
• Lemon juice – 1.5 tbsp
• Oil – as needed for shallow frying
